The third part of a history of the Third Battalion, 506 PIR, covering
the period from the battle of the Bulge to the end of the Second World
War and the immediate post-war period. A good example of the genre,
with a careful balance between eyewitness accounts and an overall
narrative. Also includes interesting sections on the occupation of
Berchtesgaden and the fate of the battalion's POWs.
