Looks at the multinational Allied invasion of northern Burma, which
ended with the capture of Myitkyina and the opening of a land route to
China. Nice to have a book that looks at this battle in its own right,
rather than a preliminary to the reconquest of southern and central
Burma or a footnote to the Chindits
