2009-2010, during a period of intense active operations in which his
unit slowly began to win control of the area away from the local
Taliban, although at fairly heavy cost. Contains a detailed analysis of
the correct way to operate in this sort of environment if there was to
be any chance of long term success, and how that was implemented at
company level.
