An excellent photographic history of the end of the Portuguese Empire
in Africa, triggered by the overthrow of the Fascist regime back in
Portugal. Based around the photos take by the Argus Africa News
Service, supported by a text written by the then head of the service.
Follows a tragic tale of great but disappointed expectations after
Independence was followed by prolonged civil wars in both countries.
