Second World War, from the super-heavy but essentially useless 80cm
railway guns ‘Dora’ and ‘Gustav’ to the old First World War guns
pressed into service. Nicely organised, with their combat record
examined campaign by campaign, and with a useful emphasis on how the
guns were actually used in practice
